The White Horse at Hascombe is a Coaching Inn dating from the 16th Century. Set in a beautiful rural village location with delicious local and seasonal food, fine ales on handpump and a wide variety of carefully selected wines.
We are on the crossroads of the local public footpath network
There are lovely walks to and from the pub and riding stables, together with other interesting local attractions such as the nearby Winkworth Arboretum.
There is free Wifi available through the majority of the pub.
The White Horse is now a Free House, owned by Ossie Gray and Antoine Pappadakis.
Jez Knight is the Manager & Publican available to deal with enquiries including discussing any events you are looking to organise.
We have exciting plans for the future to carry out some refurbishments, which will include the addition of some guest rooms, a new restaurant area and creating a larger central bar area with a reinstated Inglenook fireplace. The Public bar will retain it's inimitable feel and atmosphere...

The Public Bar has a big communal table and some cosy booths with a wood burning stove.
The main bar leads to the dining room and on through to the large Garden Room with access to the pretty and secluded large garden.
We have outside tables at the front of the pub and a large garden with a secluded dining terrace.
The White Horse hosts events & celebrations from canapes & BBQs to fine dining. Please enquire.
Food
We serve fresh food everyday for lunch and dinner, with daily changing specials on the blackboard, traditional Sunday roast lunches and a children's menu.
Our food is cooked using carefully selected, top quality, seasonal ingredients that are locally sourced, wherever possible. We use local meat and game, hung longer for better flavour.
Small Plates & snacks available all day.
